Airlines - Introduction  

Vietnam is served by daily international flights to the country's key hubs, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Tan Son Nhat airport is just 20 minutes drive from the centre of Ho Chi Minh City and is Vietnam's busiest travel hub.

Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi has undergone significant re-building in recent years and is now recognised as one of the newest, most efficient aorports in the region with modern passenger and baggage handling systems, comfortable lounges and high levels of passenger facilities and amenities.

Vietnam's third international airport is Danang which enjoys frequent flights to and from regional centres including Bangkok and Taipei. Many other popular travel destinations in Vietnam are served by local airports and the national airline - Vietnam Airlines - offers a comprehensive domestic network and regular scheduled flights throughout the country.

The state owned operator Vietnam Airlines is equipped with a modern fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircraft and offers scheduled flights from key travel hubs in the region.

In Asia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Korea and Japan are all served by the growing Vietnam Airlines travel network while travellers arriving from Europe, Australasia and beyond can also fly with Vietnam Airlines or choose from a wide variety of airlines including Air France, Lufthansa, Eva Air, JAL, KLM, Qantas, Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific, among many others.
